Redmond was invited to the Blue Jays on May 29 2013. On May 31 the following year, he was handed the loss in a 17-inning contest with the San Diego Padres. Redmond was traded and returned in the direction of Triple-A Buffalo on June 7 2013. He was then recalled on July 3, after Chien-Ming Wang was assigned to be assigned. Redmond started in the 7th of July against Minnesota Twins, pitched 5 innings and allowed just one hit, a home hit at Aaron Hicks. Redmond walked three and hit 4 batters and was able to leave with a 6-2 advantage, winning his first game of his career. Redmond achieved his highest career total in strikeouts and innings pitched by pitching 6 and 10 innings, respectively, during an encounter in which he played Houston Astros on July 28. He cleared waivers on May 29, and was assigned outright back to Buffalo. On June 22, Redmond was recalled once again. He was designated for assignment once again on July 2. Redmond elected free agency on October 5.

On November 24, 2015, Redmond signed a minor league contract with the Baltimore Orioles. He was released on April 16, 2016.

Redmond was a part of eight years in minor leagues. He was playing in his fourth season at the Braves Triple-A affiliate in Gwinnett before being summoned to the major leagues for the first time on the 17th of June the 17th of June, 2012. He was then optioned back in Gwinnett in June.

Redmond pitched a no-hitter for the Triple A Gwinnett Braves against the Louisville Bats on May 28 in 2010.

On February 8, 2013, he was claimed off waivers by the Baltimore Orioles. On March 22, 2013, Redmond was claimed by the Toronto Blue Jays, and immediately optioned to the Triple-A Buffalo Bisons.
