Get Lifted Film Co. was launched in 2012 by Jackson, John Legend and Ty Siklorius to develop and produce multicultural content for commercial audiences.

Tycoon produced The Lather Effect, starring Peter Facinelli and Connie Britton, Feel starring Billy Baldwin, and The Human Contract starring Idris Elba. After producing the film Triple Dog with Station 3’s R. D. Robb and Thomas Carter, Jackson joined Station 3 as a partner and remained there until 2011.
